Job Description:
Customer Support Staff to assist the Account Manager and Team for key customer(s) in Greater China area and report to the Customer Account Manager. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer relations and communications skills as well as excellent planning and multi-tasking skills. Key elements of the job are:
Meet regularly with key customer(s) to update customer forecasts and address other customer requirements and requests
Coordinate day-to-day activities between customers and corporate departments, especially related to commercial and development transactions, quality assurance/control communications and other customer requests
Support logistics activities, including addressing shipping and customs issues
Support other relevant customer, partner and vendor requests and inquiries and coordinate with relevant corporate departments
Translate Chinese documents into English and vice versa
Administer local office business activities including coordinating sales office schedules, meetings and mail/shipments
Required Skills:
Excellent written and verbal English for communication, translation and interpretation
College degree required, preferably BS
Professional work experience of 5+ years, preferably, in a technical business environment and/or international organization
Expertise with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, as well as ability to become familiar with other information systems
Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
Willingness to have business hours that overlap with UDC-U.S. for direct communications
Willingness to travel to customer sites and conferences outside of the Chengdu areas as well as to UDC global sites including the U.S.
Local to the Chengdu vicinity or willingness to move there
