Position Summary: The Manufacturing Program Manager is responsible for managing Adesis’ role in the overall collaboration between Adesis, Universal Display Corporation (UDC) and their third-party manufacturers in the manufacture of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), as well as between Adesis and its CDMO clients. The incumbent plans and organizes resources and personnel in collaboration with the Adesis Global Manufacturing Operations Team to manufacture molecules in support of the Adesis/UDC manufacturing supply chain.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations are efficiently carried out in compliance with all government regulations and company policies / procedures within Adesis and third-party sites utilizing Adesis proprietary processes.
Evaluate and execute corporate tactical and strategic plans to optimize utilization of manufacturing assets to meet customer company goals within the Adesis Global Manufacturing Operations Team.
Further the development and improvement of capabilities, technology, methods and equipment across the Adesis Global Manufacturing Operations Team.
Liaise with Adesis Process Development & Scale up, and external organizations to ensure effective technical transfer of new targets to Manufacturing.
Collaboration with Manufacturing Management to develop production schedules based on demand forecasts and metrics, ensure documentation is maintained, and investigate variances as appropriate to ensure timely completion of targets.
Provide project updates in customer teleconferences and meetings as required.
Support special projects and/or other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related field preferred. Advanced degree a plus.
5-7 years technical production, R&D, supply chain, and/or new product development experience required.
Prior experience with technology transfer and/or project management strongly preferred
Working knowledge of Quality systems, such as ISO-9001/ISO-13485, cGMP desired.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpretation of technical instructions from disparate information sources, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Knowledge of Process Improvement methodology (ie., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or TOC).
Strong computer skills in standard & scientific systems, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
